MENAION LISTING

of the SAINTS’ LIVES

There are 2 basic ways of listing Saints' Lives. The one way is alphabetically, for when you want to look up the Life of a particular saint. Our listings in this pull-down section are given alphabetically. The second way of listing the Saints' Lives is by the Menaion, that is, by the date, month by month, so that you may look up who is commemorated on a particular date, since there are many saints commemorated each day of the year. Thus, we offer this Menaion listing here for your convenience, month by month. The 27 Saints’ Lives already posted on the St. Innocent Monastery website are cited in the Menaion listing with the usual non-italic format. The 22 additional saints, whose Lives have been already written, but not yet posted, are listed in italics. We plan to add these additional Lives gradually during the coming weeks of March 2021. As each additional saint's Life is posted, the italics will be removed. Note that a few saints have 2 (or more) feast days, first, of their repose and second, of their glorification as saints, which usually includes the transfer of their relics.
